Yahoogroups moves in mysterious ways. It seems that many people are not receiving the weekly e-mail for some considerable time after it has been sent. So we’ll try sending it on Thursday and see how that goes.

Lanyon High Japan Trip by Christie Harvey
At 5am on Thursday the 25th of September, 13 excited students and their families arrived at the Canberra airport ready for the trip of a lifetime. The students were heading off on a two week Japan Study Tour.

The 2009 movie night was a great success, thanks to everyone who came along and thank you to Megan for hosting. I think everyone enjoyed “Tampopo” and most attendees will never look at live crustaceans or egg yolks in quite the same way again.
Thanks also to Christie Harvey for stepping up and volunteering to be the JETAA Candle Festival liaison officer. Please give her as much support as you can as she undertakes this role.
