Our June Oshaberikai and get together will be at King O’Malley’s, on Wednesday, 3rd June from 6:30pm.

If you can’t speak Japanese come along anyway, we all speak English too!

For those who haven’t been before here’s how it works: You only pay for what you eat/drink. JETAA Canberra provides the bar snacks

Trivia Night & Fundraiser, Sat, 30 May

Our charity fundraiser trivia night is on this Saturday, 30th May so come along to the St. Peter’s Church Hall in Weston for a fun night.All profits raised from tickets, games, auctions, drinks and donations is going to the Tohoku Youth Program. The Program is organised by our friends at The Australia-Japan Society (ACT) Inc. and aims to help, in some small way, the young Japanese people who lost their parents in the disastrous earthquake and tsunami on 11th March 2011.

We are well on our way to finalising tables but there is still time to register a team and help support this worthy cause . You can buy tickets  ($15 + booking fee) through our Eventbrite page here:http://jetaa-trivia-night-fundraiser.eventbrite.com.auPlease note that one person can buy multiple tickets, so can purchase for the entire team

We will have a lot of opportunities to bid on items or play games, so please bring along your $2 coins and smaller notes to get in on the action! ٩(^ᴗ^)۶
