Oshaberikai September 7th. 6:00pm!

Hi All!

Sorry to have been remiss in updates! Things at the ANU have become a bit problematic as of late, which means that I’ve been scrambling there and so have failed to write for a while. That said, here goes nothing!

September Oshaberikai

The first Wednesday of the month is upon us, and that means one thing… Oshaberikai! Our next monthly get together will be Wednesday September 7th at Coo Izakaiya in Civic. Please RSVP with me at imoriyama05 so that we can get an accurate head count.

I know we’ve got some new sign-ups who may not have attended the event before so here’s how it works. RSVP with me by tomorrow 12:00pm, and we’ll get you a seat. Things kick off at 6:00pm at Coo (15 East Row, Civic).

Usually we have about 15-20 JET Alumni, Japanese ex-pats, and other folks with Japan related experience or an interest in the country. It’s a great opportunity to network or just meet other members of the Australia/Japan community.

Also, many people and groups within our community wish to make a contribution to the Tohoku Disaster Relief. I have recently taken an enquiry from an artist who wishes to put together a benefit exhibition and is interested in meeting other artists with a similar interest in Japan and in helping the people affected by the Tohoku tsunami. If you would like to know more, or know of someone who may be interested, please reply to me by email.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Stuart Forsyth

All right folks that’s it for now.

Cheers,

ACG
